Year 10 ~ 11
GCSE Maths Mock Test
In preparation for the GCSE Maths examinations every year, we run mock tests to give students plenty of replica exam practice and guidance.
The students are required to come to our centre twice a week for 8 consecutive weeks to sit two maths mock test papers (calculator and non-calculator) and will review their tests in the post-assessment class.
The OxBridge Centre exclusively produces all the mock test exam papers internally, and they have been created to challenge our students and encourage them to reach their maximum potential. Our students regularly aim for the top A and A* grades. Once the students have completed the tests, the papers are marked, graded and ranked, to help them see both areas of improvement as well as introducing a healthy sense of competition between their peers to keep them motivated.
The review classes are taught by one of our own Maths teachers who addresses specific exam techniques and tackles questions students have found most problematic with comprehensive solutions. Students are also given review papers to enable them to correct their own mistakes after the review classes. This helps them understand why they were incorrect and prevents them from making the same mistakes in the future.
