Our Easter Intensive Course Year 5 Course offers the perfect boost in our students’ progress and confidence during their 11+ examination preparation.
The purpose of this course is to revise topics that our students have learnt in previous academic years with a particular focus on introducing how to apply this knowledge in an examination setting to achieve top marks.
We look forward to welcoming you to our Easter Intensive Course.
This course runs from 1st to 5th April, Monday to Friday. Each day, classes will run between 9am and 2.45pm. Each subject that you select will run for 60 minutes per day (except VR&NVR being 120 minutes), with a short break in between the classes.
VR&NVR is a 4 day course; Tuesday - Friday (2nd - 5th April). All other subjects run for 5 days.
Your timetable will be bespoke to you, as it is entirely dependent on your chosen subjects and availability, and will be confirmed to you by 22nd March.
Students will be given a daily homework task for each subject which must be uploaded before 9am the day after it has been set.
The day after submission, homework booklets will be marked and returned to you with comments from the tutor, providing feedback on your student’s progress and outlining key areas for them to focus further on.
Mark schemes will also be made available for you to view on the online portal at your own convenience, allowing you to review and mark any work completed in class. These will remain available for viewing throughout the rest of the academic year to assist in preparation for 11+ examinations.
